READY TO WEAR. If all this time you have been toting your Coach bag while secretly wishing that the brand will extend its modern aesthetics to a ready-to-wear collection then, well, your wish has been granted
As soon as its new creative director Stuart Vevers—previously the creative director of Loewe—took office, he flexed his muscles by working not only on the leather goods collection but also on a full ready-to-wear range for men. Being the first menswear offering from the American brand, it hits all the right notes with abundant use of leather and shearling as inspired by the 1991 indie movie “My Private Idaho” and the New York lifestyle. The pieces were showcased at the former Central Saint Martins college last January and will be a part of the upcoming fall/winter selections.
