As the FIFA World Cup 2026 heads toward its climactic conclusion, Louis Vuitton reveals a meticulously handcrafted Trophy Trunk and a trio of collectible creations that celebrate the house’s enduring legacy of craftsmanship and the spirit of the beautiful game

Once more, Louis Vuitton returns as the Official Supplier and Branded Licensee for the FIFA World Cup 2026, bringing together heritage, sporting excellence and exceptional craftsmanship. Continuing a tradition that began in 2010, the French maison has unveiled a handcrafted Trophy Trunk designed to protect, present and celebrate soccer’s most coveted prize.

Crafted at Louis Vuitton’s historic workshops in Asnières-sur-Seine near Paris, the trunk showcases the House’s renowned savoir-faire. It is wrapped in the iconic Monogram canvas, while its front panels feature a hand-painted golden “V” symbolizing both Victory and Vuitton, echoing the gleaming finish of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The exterior is completed with the Maison’s signature leather lozine trim, gold-plated brass corner protectors, clasps and locks, honoring Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making heritage dating back to the 1860s. Inside, a refined light beige leather lining is finished with an official Louis Vuitton x FIFA partnership plaque.
The Trophy Trunk will make its on-field debut during the tournament’s final match, carried by a Louis Vuitton ambassador alongside a FIFA legend. The ceremonial presentation has become one of the competition’s defining traditions. FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai noted that the moment brings together Louis Vuitton’s rich heritage with the global spectacle of modern soccer.

To mark the occasion, Louis Vuitton has also introduced an exclusive limited-edition collection of three collectible trunks. Inspired by the official Trophy Trunk, the lineup includes the Coffret 8 Montres, an elegant case for storing eight watches, the Cotteville 16 Montres, created for fine watchmaking, and the timeless Malle Courrier Lozine 110. Each piece is adorned with a hand-painted FIFA World Cup Trophy motif and the signature golden “V,” while also offering personalization through hand-painted initials. Together, the collection celebrates Louis Vuitton’s enduring Art of Travel, demonstrating once again how the House’s craftsmanship moves effortlessly between fashion and sport.
