The men’s fashion and haute couture weeks frenzy is over, but there was still one headline-worthy collection making an appearance. The man behind this unveiling was none other than Simon Porte Jacquemus, who flew his spring 2024 collection – and all of his guests – to Nice, France. The choice of venue itself had already created quite a buzz as Jacquemus never settles for anything less than the absolute best when it comes to surprising guests with his destinations. Situated in Maeght Foundation in a hillside home containing thousands of 20th-century modern art pieces, Jacquemus’ show incorporated many important aspects from the venue as ornaments in his current collection.

For the spring 2024 collection dubbed Les Sculptures, Jacquemus used various unconventional approaches that were manifested through tailoring, cutting, and silhouette. This was evident from the beginning when a sculpted leather jacket appeared in black and was paired with a shirt and tie – notably the most sought-after ensemble for the season. Sleeves were sculpted and the structure was paneled to achieve a sleek silhouette.

The same pattern was applied to the next couple of looks. He also gave the collection a playful touch by designing a sculpted top that looked as if it was attached to the trousers or perhaps the shirt, portraying the essence of quiet luxury with elevated simplicity.

As for the color palette, the designer incorporated many neutral shades like beige, black, white and gray, with a splash of bright red in a few looks. Spotted prints were scattered in some key looks, one that particularly stole much attention was the bomber jacket first seen in the first look which now has been elevated with the print.
