The Spanish Formula 1 driver joins Giorgio Armani Spain as its new Fragrance Ambassador for I WILL Eau de Parfum, adding a new dimension to Armani Beauty’s roster of ambassadors

From Formula 1 circuits to international fashion events, Carlos Sainz Jr. has become increasingly visible beyond the world of motorsport. Now, that presence extends to Armani Beauty, where Sainz brings his sporting pedigree to the role of Fragrance Ambassador in Spain.
Described by Armani Beauty through the qualities of “authentic elegance” and “fierce discipline,” Sainz makes a fitting face for I WILL. A woody vanilla fragrance centered around Calabrian bergamot, lavender, Madagascar vanilla absolute and woodleather notes, it was created by master perfumers Alberto Morillas and Nathalie Lorson. The scent is positioned around determination and willpower, qualities that resonate with Sainz’s life on the circuit.

For Sainz, fragrance appears to be as much a part of his personal routine as it is a brand association. During a quick-fire interview in Venice, he revealed that the scent of burnt fuel and tires is one that instantly transports him to a particular moment, while I WILL Eau de Parfum is the one item he always makes sure to pack.

The new partnership arrives at a fitting moment. Ahead of the Italian Grand Prix, Sainz attended the Venice Film Festival in Giorgio Armani, wearing an ivory dinner jacket with black trousers for the festival’s opening night. The appearance offered a glimpse of the driver’s increasingly visible presence within the world of luxury, where speed and precision meet a more refined expression of style.
