OMEGA DE VILLE TRÉSOR. Some timepieces are known for edgy shapes and large sizes, yet Omega sticks to the rulebook by tinkering with watch movements instead. Case in point: De Ville Trésor. The thin golden watch, that gained popularity back in 1950s after it hit the market in 1949, is now returning with a vengeance.
Bearing the same face but a totally different watchmaking arsenal, the new watch boasts one of the brand’s cutting-edge movements: Master Co-Axial caliber 8511. It’s a sophisticated mechanical movement, featuring 60 hours of power reserve, a Si14-silicon balance spring, a three-level Co-Axial escapement and Omega’s exclusive anti-magnetic technology. Details on the dial, such as the vintage “cloud de Paris” guilloche and domed hour markers, don’t disappoint either. The case is offered in three distinct materials, namely Omega Sedna gold, yellow gold and white gold.
