Palomo balances softness and sensuality for Spring/Summer 2026

Spanish label Palomo presents “Eighteen” for Spring/Summer 2026, a collection that balances softness, sensuality and romantic silhouettes

After nearly a decade redefining contemporary fashion through a romantic, gender-fluid lens, Palomo continues to expand its creative universe. Founded by Alejandro Gómez Palomo, the Spanish label has built an international following through its fusion of Andalusian craftsmanship, theatrical silhouettes and progressive dressing.

For Spring/Summer 2026, Gómez Palomo explores the emotional transition between youth and adulthood with “Eighteen.” The collection balances innocence with sensuality and freedom, referencing both the experience of coming of age and the brand’s eighteenth collection—a milestone that also marks a personal chapter for the house.

Drawing inspiration from the cinematic worlds of Sofia Coppola’s “The Virgin Suicides” and “Marie Antoinette,” the collection embraces a tension between softness and rebellion. Photographed by Lucas Lei and styled by Alejandro Gómez Palomo himself, the accompanying imagery further amplifies the collection’s dreamy sensibility through a cast featuring Isidro López, Juan Navarro, Diego Guillo, and Naya Murcia.

Pastel pinks, powder blues and aqua greens appear throughout alongside sheer fabrics, delicate textures and romantic silhouettes. In contrast, sharper tailoring, sculptural proportions and unexpected volumes introduce a stronger sense of independence and restraint.

Palomo also revisits signature elements such as knitwear and leather through softer constructions and intricate detailing. Crystal-embellished floral motifs continue the brand’s collaboration with Swarovski, while accessories created with Vivas Carrión further reinforce the collection’s dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere.
