For Dolce & Gabbana, Sicily has always been more than a backdrop. The island’s landscapes, traditions and distinct character have shaped the house’s creative vision from the very beginning, merging Domenico Dolce’s Sicilian heritage with Stefano Gabbana’s Milanese perspective. Decades later, that foundation remains unmistakable, expressed through confident tailoring and a flair for dramatic elegance.

For Spring/Summer 2027, those influences come into focus once again in “Vacanze Siciliane,” a collection that positions Sicily as both inspiration and destination. Drawing on the spirit of the 1950s and 1960s, the collection reflects the island’s enduring contrasts: sea and stone, light and shadow. From the opening look, tailoring takes center stage while embracing a sense of effortless Mediterranean ease.

Knitwear and lace are paired with rhinestone-embellished jackets and denim, reinforcing the house’s unmistakable glamour. Postcard prints, citrus-inspired hues and graphic motifs further enrich the Sicilian narrative. Throughout the collection, romantic elements meet Art Deco influences, creating a compelling exchange between nostalgia and contemporary style.

With “Vacanze Siciliane,” Dolce & Gabbana revisits its origins not to recreate the past, but to reinterpret it through a modern lens. The result is a cinematic tribute to Sicily that feels sun-soaked, expressive and unapologetically glamorous, reaffirming the island’s place at the heart of the house’s identity.
