Michael Rider’s evolving vision for Celine Summer 2026

For his sophomore collection, Michael Rider continues the story he began in July, carrying Celine’s timeless elegance into a season of light and motion.

With the roof open to the sky, Celine’s Summer 2026 show unfolded as a true invitation to a sun-drenched season. Staged at the Parc de Saint-Cloud, guests were bathed in natural light, their eyes drawn to the surrounding greenery and a runway long enough to showcase Michael Rider’s evolving vision for the house.

According to Rider, the Summer 2026 collection extends the narrative of his July debut. It explores the tension between what endures and what fades—how garments and accessories become part of the memories created while wearing them.

At first glance, the collection blends Parisian elegance with a distinct biker-chic attitude. Blazers maintain strong, structured cuts with modern accents that give new relevance to classic tailoring. The biker sensibility comes through in a range of accessories including helmets, somehow channeling a sense of rebellion that play against the refined tailoring found elsewhere in the collection.

Slim trousers and boots complete the ensembles, grounding the silhouettes with a sense of movement and intent. Even in its edgier moments, Rider keeps the collection anchored in Celine’s signature elegance, balancing toughness with sensuality.
