#StayHomewithDAMAN featuring John Halls

DA MAN: Where are you?
John Halls:
I am in my flat in London

DA: What are you doing right now? What are you watching, reading or listening to?
JH:
I’ve gotten into a nice routine which is normally good for me mentally. I’m watching a lot of the news actually; I’m kind of addicted to keeping up with what’s going on everyday but also find it important to take time in finding out where your news is coming from. When I’ve had enough of that, I’ll watch a movie or a documentary. “Innocent Files” and “The Last Dance” are two of my favorites right now.

DA: How are you approaching self-care?
JH:
I find exercising every day, mainly in the morning, really helps with my mind and sets me up to feel good for the rest of the day. Even when I don’t feel like exercising, I grind it out and always feel better for doing it. Also, speaking to or texting friends and loved ones daily helps me stay sane!

DA: What are you cooking?
JH:
I’m a terrible cook, so nothing to report there! Although I’m still keeping it healthy with saving treats for the weekends.

DA: What are you wearing?
JH:
I’ve been in tracksuits and lounge wear every day! Although I have been doing some shopping with online discounts. Suitsupply and Reiss are my main guys currently, so hopefully, when it’s safe to go back out I’ll have plenty of stuff to wear.

DA: What’s outside your window?
JH:
I live in central London, but my big windows overlook a lot of gardens. So, it’s very green and a lovely view.

DA: What are you thankful or hopeful for?
JH:
During the lockdown, I’ve been very thankful for my friends and loved ones as it would be so hard to cope without them. So many people don’t have that support system and I can only imagine how tough that must be. Hopefully, we’ll learn a lot from this pandemic and we’ll go back to a kinder and safer world where we can all come together as a global community to look after ourselves and our planet better.
