Restaurant Review: Salt Grill

SUMMER-SALT. Luscious tapas by the pool, plus walloping cold cocktails in hand?

Yes, you can at Salt Tapas, Sentosa Seminyak (Jl. Pura Telaga Waja, Petitenget, Bali; +62 361 737 676; www.salttapasbali.com). Courtesy of Australian celebrity chef Luke Mangan, the brand new eatery is a tasty sequel to the Salt Grill opened at Altitude, The Plaza, Jakarta.

The swanky location is tucked hidden in the heart of Seminyak, replete with a swimming pool and a Zen-infused spa sanctuary on the side. The list of the tapas echoes the classic favorites, whipping bacons, breads and bits of everything into sharing plates of snacking bliss.

The pizzas are must-have, and so are the kicking cocktails crafted by one astute Singapore-based mixologist. Using 100 percent-agave tequila mix, the libation on offer is a pure treat that will wet your whistles and tickle your taste buds all night long.
