German sportswear label Adidas and Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto celebrated the twentieth anniversary of their collaboration on the Y-3 brand.
Exploring the past, present and future of the brand, the “20 Years: Re-Coded” campaign stars French soccer manager and player Zinedine Zidane. The athlete himself has collaborated with the brand on multiple occasions, appearing in numerous Y-3 ads and walking in a number of runway shows. Creative director Jamie Reid and photographer Gabriel Moses worked together to create
a memorable short film and an array of stills, all in black-and-white, showcasing the soccer player in different ensembles and dynamic poses. The latest collection includes trench coats, sweatshirts, puffer vests and the brand’s latest piece, the UltraBOOST 22.
