After Hermès’ José Lévy and MUJI’s Naoto Fukasawa, realme recently collaborated with the Danish brand founded by brothers Victor and Julius Juul
Earlier this year, realme announced a new collaboration with HELIOT EMIL as a Guest Designer at realme Design Studio. At the time, the plan was to create a special custom smartphone bag inspired by the Light Shift Design of the realme 9 Pro Series, which will then be presented during Paris Fashion Week. Recently, the aforementioned smartphone bag finally made its debut as part of HELIOT EMIL’s Solitary Uniform autumn/winter 2022 runway show in the city of lights
Appearance-wise, the custom bag comes in black leather with a special cut that showcases HELIOT EMIL’s signature industrial elegance. Particularly, this special cutting also exposes the back cover of the smartphone which is able to change color when exposed to ultraviolet rays. In the end, thanks to the Light Shift Design, the back cover transitions from blue to red in five seconds under sunlight or ultraviolet light, fading back into blue when out of direct light.
