Ralph Lauren Announces Major Donations in Light of the COVID-19 Crisis

Ralph Lauren has pledged USD10 million to help its teams, partners and communities impacted by the novel coronavirus pandemic

The impact of COVID-19 across the world is profound and wide-reaching. Hence, through the Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation—formerly known as the Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation—Ralph Lauren is committing USD10 million to help its teams, partners and communities impacted by the novel coronavirus pandemic

This fund will be used to provide financial grants through the Emergency Assistance Foundation for Ralph Lauren colleagues facing special circumstances like medical, eldercare or childcare needs. It will also contribute to the World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, a global effort supporting countries to prevent, detect and respond to the pandemic.

Furthermore, Ralph Lauren will also build on the brand’s 20-year commitment to cancer care through the Pink Pony Fund, as well as to commit an inaugural gift to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund for COVID-19 relief to support the American fashion community impacted by the pandemic. On top of that, the brand has also already started the production of 250,000 masks and 25,000 isolation gowns with its U.S. manufacturing partners.
