Three iconic Onitsuka Tiger styles now come with lavish quilting finishes to add some extra cheer to the holiday season
Just in time for the holiday season, Onitsuka Tiger presents its Holiday Quilting Series. The Japanese brand has updated three of its iconic styles for the holiday season in the traditional festive colors of red, gray and green.
First up is the timeless MEXICO 66 . One of Onitsuka Tiger’s most hallowed silhouettes, MEXICO 66 is a slim-profile low-top shoe that is ideal for slotting into busy urban lives. For this special occasion, the MEXICO 66 is redesigned for the season in Japanese velvet with a glossy grey hue and lavish quilt stitching, this sneaker is overlaid with tonal-effect signature stripes at the quarter and detailed with Onitsuka Tiger branding at the heel and tongue to stay true to its iconic origins. It also comes with an imprinted “Happy Holidays” on the inner sole for a festive touch.
Up next is the SERRANO. This season, the Onitsuka Tiger SERRANO trainer has been updated with plush opulence. The very definition of sports-luxe, this low-profile style is delivered in ruby red with lavish quilting and tonal stitching. The gloss-effect fabric has been sourced from a leading supplier in Japan, keeping this form true to its original DNA. The SERRANO also comes with an imprinted “Happy Holidays” on the inner sole.
And last but not least, the LAWNSHIP 3.0. Delivered in a brand new look to greet the new season, the LAWNSHIP 3.0 is dedicated to style and substance at every turn. Originally developed in 1974 as a classic tennis shoe, this low-profile style is crafted in Japanese green velvet with a glossy finish for plush appeal. Tonal stitching invites some textural interest into the look, while solid-tone overlays pull the aesthetic together into one neat package. Like the previous two models, the LAWNSHIP 3.0 also have and imprinted “Happy Holidays” on its inner sole.
