Four years in the making, French architect and winner of the prestigious Pritzker Prize, <a href="http://www.portzamparc.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Christian de Portzamparc</a> designed the building, while American architect <a href="http://www.petermarinoarchitect.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Peter Marino</a> conceived the interior.
The building’s exterior is particularly striking, even from a distance: a bright white façade inspired by the fabrics, shapes and movement of toiles created in Dior’s Haute Couture Atelier in Paris. Inside, art and furniture installations from renowned Korean, American and French artists give the space the feel of a gallery instead of a store.
