Amid the frenetic pace of modern life, Montblanc reclaims the ritual of writing as an art form. For Spring/Summer 2026, the maison’s leather collections blur the boundaries between writing, travel and personal style, transforming everyday tools of creativity into objects designed to be lived with.
Under the direction of Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta, Montblanc explores a palette of warm, grounded hues drawn from nature. Shades of khaki, velvet green and fauve are enlivened by accents of tangerine and saffron, creating a color story that feels calm yet assured within the brand’s cinematic universe.
New Shapes for the Season
At the heart of the season is the belief that writing belongs everywhere. Notebook-inspired leather holders are designed to keep pen and paper close at hand, whether carried alone or integrated into daily life. Crafted to fit a Montblanc medium notebook, each piece incorporates space for a writing instrument on the exterior. The Medium Notes Holder features an envelope-style silhouette in grain leather and doubles as a clutch thanks to its single generously proportioned interior pocket. Complementing it, the Medium Notebook Holder employs a wraparound construction, functioning as both a notebook cover and an organizer with additional interior pockets to keep documents neatly arranged on the move.
Writing also becomes an accessory in its own right. Crafted in Sartorial leather, the Pen Loop Necklace can be worn around the neck or attached to bags and belts, a subtle yet expressive detail that turns function into statement.
A belt-inspired construction introduces a new visual language for the season. Defined by a horseshoe buckle that wraps around the bag to form a shoulder strap, this tactile, architectural detail shapes the Belt Crossbody Messenger and Belt Vertical Crossbody.

Signature Montblanc silhouettes return with renewed material expression. The Writing Traveler appears in fauve and velvet green with sfumato finishes, while the Weekender and MY4810 Cabin Trolley draw on archival fabrics and corteccia leather, balancing a sense of nostalgia with contemporary performance. Designed for life in constant motion, Extreme leather is reimagined in khaki across pieces such as the Thin Briefcase and On-Body Bag.
The Art of the Desk
Completing the narrative, Montblanc continues its exploration of the Art of the Desk. Trays, writing instrument holders and boxes crafted in fauve-toned corteccia leather bring warmth and refinement to the modern workspace.
