Michael Kors Launches The Watch Hunger Stop 2020 Campaign

After seven successful years, 2020’s WHS campaign comes with sustainability in mind

Michael Kors has just announced the launch of its latest Watch Hunger Stop 2020 product capsule. This would be the eighth year of the campaign to support the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in their mission to achieve zero world hunger and provide much needed meals to children in food insecure areas.

This year’s special-edition capsule collection is designed and produced with sustainability in mind. There’s a unisex white pocket tee and a blue denim tote with a red heart patch spelling out the word “love.” The T-shirt is made from organic cotton, while the denim tote features 25-percent Repreve recycled polyester. For every T-shirt or tote sold, Michael Kors will donate all profits, equivalent to 100 meals or USD25, to children in need through the World Food Programme. Michael Kors plans to donate up to two million meals to WFP until September next year. Just a quick disclaimer, WFP does not endorse any products or services.


In addition to the campaign, Michael Kors has also launched the brand’s first IG camera effect, celebrating the message of love for the WHS campaign. If you use the filter and share with the hashtag #WatchHungerStop, 50 school meals will be donated in their honor.
