Mena Massoud in Givenchy for World Premiere of “Aladdin”

Disney’s second out of three live-action adaptations of their classic animated features to be released this year, “Aladdin” is ready to grant our wishes this week. And it’s no surprise when the actor playing the title character gets a lot of spotlight.

The previously relatively unknown Mena Massoud will get a taste of a whole new world when the movie hits the big screens worldwide. Last week we talked about his the watch he wore to the film’s European premiere, and today we’ve noticed Massoud is pulling his own modern Prince Ali Ababwa look.

Spotted walking the magic red carpet of the movie’s Los Angeles premiere, Massoud is seen sporting bronze and petrol blue virgin wool jacket, black viscose shirt embroidered with mother of pearl buttons, black wool trousers and black leather derbies with velcro strap on the front – all courtesy of Givenchy.

Designed by the house’s own Artistic Director, Clare Waight Keller, the outfit embodies one of the movie’s iconic scene: the Cave of Wonders – with its bedazzling jewels, the dark walls of the cave and the starry night above.
