With the new season comes yet another new story of creative movement. London College of Fashion graduate Maximilian Davis was named the new creative director of Florence-based luxury goods company Salvatore Ferragamo.

Since March 16, the founder of Maximilian has started a new page with the house. “I am deeply honored to be joining Ferragamo, and grateful for the opportunity to build on the rich and profound heritage of the house,” Davis expressed. The house’s Chief Executive Officer, Marco Gorbetti said about the appointment: “I am delighted to welcome Maximilian at the House of Ferragamo. The clarity of his vision together with the level of execution and his powerful aesthetic make him one of the most brilliant talents of his generation.” Furthermore, Gorbetti added that Davis, through his contemporary sensibility, would bring about great new chapters to the fashion house.
