For next season, Marni deconstructs and reconstructs memories

Marni unveiled its Pre-Fall 2020 collection with “Undress Your Mind” as its main theme. Creative director Francesco Risso played around with the necessity of a new essentialism, of a reduced or purer aesthetic. He mixed and stirred this idea into a unique collection that is absolutely Marni.

The Pre-Fall 2020 collection is where past is spoken in the present tense, where minimalism meets maximalism and the masculine encounters the feminine. Risso looked into the Beat Generation of the 1950s and infused it with the sensuality of the 1920s.
