Louis Vuitton’s History on Display in Singapore

The French luxury brand started out creating high-end travel trunks and leather goods, has now grown to become a world renowned fashion brand creating fashion items to dress you from head to toe. Having been around since 1854, the now leading fashion house has a long history and many stories to tell. To better showcase Louis Vuitton’s extensive history, a highly immersive exhibition is currently being held in Singapore until November 5, presenting the House’s story from its beginnings all the way to present day. To better tell the tale of Louis Vuitton, the story is told using rare and celebrated objects selected from the Louis Vuitton archive.

As to not make the history lesson seem overly boring, the historical exhibition features interactive digital experiences, including a highly sensory LED animation, as well as a Facebook Messenger based Digital Guide. With the aid of simple QR code scans placed around the exhibition’s many rooms, guests can further enjoy their travel through Louis Vuitton’s history, unlocking fun facts, visuals, videos, GIFs and mini quizzes making the virtual time-traveling journey an interesting one. If only history was made this much fun in school.

The opening of the exhibition that took place on October 17, featured a long list of celebrities, such as  (Australia), Dion Wiyoko (Indonesia), Lee Sung Kyung (Korea) and many others. When in Singapore, be sure not to miss the Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Exhibition.
