The collection pays homage to Gaston-Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton has just released a series of accessories and leather goods called Gaston Labels. It pays homage to the grandson of the label’s founder, Gaston-Louis Vuitton. Born in 1883, Gaston was known as a collector of old trunk labels as well the trunks of the house that featured such labels since 1875.
The star of this new release are the new iterations of Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s vintage luggage labels reimagined as modern labels on Monogram Eclipse canvas. This is the first time a heritage-inspired animation is seen on the canvas. The collection features function-oriented silhouettes including the Discovery Backpack, Discovery Bumbag, accessories (belts, leather bracelets, textiles, hat, eyewear) and the new LG models of the Tote Backpack and Besace Zippee MM.
Sporting the special edition Gaston Labels collection is brand ambassador Kris Wu.
The Gaston Labels will be available at Louis Vuitton Indonesia stores in May.
