Sitting several meters off the Marina Bay Sands promenade, seemingly floating on the bay like a big diamond, the amazing Louis Vuitton Island Maison is a new way to indulge your luxury desires.

It’s the 12th Maison Louis Vuitton in the world and first in Southeast Asia (since, technically Hong Kong is East Asia). Designed by acclaimed architect Peter Marino with a nautical theme throughout, the bottom floor has the complete selection of leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories for both men and women. The mezzanine level highlights the LV travel luggage and accessories in the elegant Travel Room.

In addition, the property features a private presentation area and an outdoor gallery with a luxury yacht ambience. A tunnel with exhibitions of contemporary art runs from the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands to the LV bookstore, where you can find books on design, culture and art. Then it’s up the spiral staircase and a showcase of jewelry bags and exclusive watches. The space is highlighted by artwork from the likes of British artist Richard Deacon and Ruben Toledo (photo below).
