Louis Erard launches three Excellence Régulateur models with fine stone dials

Three limited-edition timepieces bearing aventurine, lapis-lazuli, and malachite

Independent Swiss watch manufacturer has taken one of its historic models, Le Régulateur, to create a new collection that combine contemporary design and high-end watchmaking expertise in fine stone and artisanal glass dials. The end result is a set of three models: The Excellence Régulateur Aventurine, Excellence Régulateur Lapis-Lazuli, and Excellence Régulateur Malachite—each featuring a unique color, a unique mood and limited to 99 pieces per edition.

The cases of the three Excellence Régulateur watches are made in polished stainless-steel, while the dials feature snailed opaline (matt silver) dual counters and glossy silver indexes. More importantly, as the names of the models imply, the dials feature openworked blue aventurine, lapis lazuli, and malachite.

Unsurprisingly, the designers at Louis Erard have also chosen matching straps for these beautiful creations: “Deep” blue calf nubuck leather for the aventurine dial, “Oceania” blue leather for the lapis-lazuli model and “Basilico” green to complement the malachite model. And on a more technical note, all three models are powered by the Sellita SW266-1 calibre automatic movement.

With its unique combination of mechanical precision, mastery in handling the exquisite stones for the dials and overall design as well as intriguing price point, Louis Erard’s trio of Excellence Régulateur models showcase a fine watchmaking in a new light.
