Longines Pays Tribute to 1930s Aesthetic With The Heritage Classic

Inspired by the aesthetics of the 1930s, Swiss horologist Longines once again illustrates its ability to honor its past by adding a new timepiece: The Longines Heritage Classic. Its tribute is reflected through the aesthetic of its sector dial in a subtle balance of colors and lines as well as its distinctive 38.50 mm diameter of its stainless steel case; a contemporary dimension that reflects the elegant pieces of the 1930s.

The hour circle, adorned with Arabic numerals and hour markers, appears on a satin-finished silvered disk that houses a new exclusive caliber (L893.5)—featuring a silicon balance spring. This self-winding mechanical movement is especially developed for the pieces of the Heritage line.

While the watch does not carry the date counter, it enables the small seconds display to be located under the central axis for a design that is even closer to that of the historical pieces. The watch is available with a blue or semi-matte black leather strap with beige overstitching adorns the case.
