MEN GET IT TOO. They say if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. But Longchamp seems to think otherwise, and thankfully so.
For the longest time, Le Pliage has been one of, if not, the most iconic of all Longchamp bags. But for its spring-summer 2012 collection, the French brand decided to modify Le Pliage and rename it Le Pliage Cuir; a risk, which has thus far proven successful.
The newly enhanced collection is as practical–it’s foldable and the shoulder strap is removable–as the original.
The twist is, Le Pliage Cuir now comes in soft leather and is now it is available in men’s styles.
Le Pliage Cuir is available in five sizes, including a travel bag and eight colors, including navy, black and brown, which should be more appealing for men.
