THE GRAPE ESCAPE. Inspired by the biblical figure with a penchant for rescuing animals, Alessi’s Noè bottle holder pays tribute to Noah, who, when not saving furry figures, is an avid wine enthusiast and the first figure in the bible to get raucously drunk.
Product designer Giulio Iacchetti shares Noah’s passion for wine and dedicated a series of products designed to preserve and enjoy the heavenly grape extract. The bottle holder, available in white, black and dark red, takes after the shape of an upside down cluster of grapes with a stackable construction that enables the bottle holders to be combined vertically or horizontally. More than a mere functional piece, the thermoplastic resin holder serves as a posh décor piece.
