Even before the French region of Provence became famous as the origin of L’Occitane, it had been known to house a number of iconic fountains.
The story goes that Provence was in possession of vast amounts of pure natural water, but it had always been poorly distributed, until the fountains appeared. Inspired by the freshness of these fountains are L’Occitane’s Eaux de Cologne collection. Eau Captivante, one of the perfumes in the collection, is dedicated specifically for men. Citrusy top notes are mixed with basil and mint that fill the heart notes, as well as lavender and woody ingredients that make the base notes. Together, they create a freshly masculine cologne with a very Provençal feel.
