<p>Lanvin’s decision to present its Fall/Winter 2026 menswear collection independently signaled a deliberate statement from artistic director Peter Copping. Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, the collection served as a considered tribute to the centenary of Lanvin Homme. Titled Homme du Monde, it marked 100 years since founder Jeanne Lanvin first ventured into menswear in 1926.</p>

<p>Under Copping’s direction, the collection draws deeply from the <em>maison</em>’s heritage while reframing it for a contemporary audience. Inspired by Jeanne Lanvin’s travels to Venice in the 1920s, the modern Lanvin man emerges as a cultivated traveler, his wardrobe shaped by memory, movement and cultural exchange. This narrative unfolded through precise tailoring in signature gray flannel, accented by jewel-toned shades of amethyst and absinthe that echoed the richness of Venetian craftsmanship.</p>

<p>As the story developed, the collection was anchored by enveloping outerwear and pieces designed for warmth and comfort. Cocoon coats recalled early twentieth-century proportions, while Art Deco–inspired knitwear and couture-derived embroidery were subtly reinterpreted for modern wear. Together, the looks struck a measured balance between intimacy and refinement, closing the presentation as a quiet yet assured reflection on Lanvin’s enduring menswear legacy.</p>
