Urban, retro, tennis, are probably the words to describe the latest sneaker from Lacoste’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection. But the sneaker is not only influenced by the aesthetic of the &#8217;80s but also the brand’s tennis roots, too.

The T-Clip Sneaker by Lacoste was inspired by a tennis court. Adopting the criss-cross lines of a tennis court are the mixed outlines of the Sideline and Thrill models, while the mesh of a net came in as suede and mesh panels on the tongue and the front.
