Meet Kris Wu, China’s new-generation superstar, former member of South Korean-Chinese idol group EXO and Burberry’s new best friend
After making his runway debut during Burberry‘s show in January and attending the fashion houses’s first-ever buy-now-see-now presentation in September, Wu has now officially been appointed as brand ambassador and collaborator.
Today, Burberry has launched the Kris Wu Edit, a capsule collection comprising of five looks curated by the star himself. Pieces in the capsule are said to be Wu’s personal favorites from Burberry’s current collections, including the signature trench coat, a cashmere coat, striped knitwear, the iconic cashmere scarf and a number of accessories.
In conjunction with the launch, Burberry has also revealed a series of campaign images featuring Wu in said capsule collection. Furthermore, the brand’s CEO Christopher Bailey will fly to Beijing on November 28 to celebrate the occasion with Wu.
