Kenzo Taps Grey’s Anatomy Jesse William in a Music-Themed Short Film

JESSE HOLD ON. Kenzo persists on creating artsy short films to showcase the seasonal collection, not excluding the spring/summer 2017

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross, musician Kelsey Lu and actor Jesse Williams for Kenzo

Designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are never short of bold ideas. While the previous seasons have seen the American duo spearhead artsy short films for fashion campaigns, this season they are doing it again but with more than one film. Following the “Club Ark Eternal” clip, Kenzo enlisted the help of twin photographers Jalan and Jibril Durimel for the campaign images and hip-hop video director Kahlil Joseph to create another multimedia artwork.

Under the theme “Music is My Mistress,” the teaser images for the season’s second short film depicts three seemingly disconnected personalities. Elegantly dressed in golden top is Tracee Ellis Ross, daughter of singer Diana Ross and a member of “Black-ish” cast who recently won the Golden Globe Awards for the Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. Then there’s Kelsey Lu, an eccentric cellist who has made a name for her music as much as for her personal style. Last but not least, actor Jesse Williams of “Grey’s Anatomy” rounds up the actors for the music-themed short film that will be out on February 20.
