Jimmy Choo is showing its rebellious side
WWD reports that Mick Jagger’s actor son, James, has been chosen to front Jimmy Choo‘s fall ad campaign. Jagger’s most recent filmography includes HBO’s TV series “Vinyl,” where he plays a rocker; it helps that he inherits his father’s rock-and-roll charm and rebellious look.
That look is precisely the thing that attracts Jimmy Choo to the 30-year-old actor. “James Jagger embodies the rebellious gentleman spirit of the Jimmy Choo man, and was the perfect choice for the campaign,” says the brand’s creative director Sandra Choi. “He has an innate confidence and combines a clever wit with the charm of a true gentleman.”
In a series of photographs that was shot by Craig McDean, Jagger is seen wearing some of the shoes from Jimmy Choo’s fall offering. Stylist Sarah Richardson pairs them with black-and-white ensembles, which help accentuate the shoes.
