After a series of teasers, Prada and adidas have officially unveiled their much talked-about collaboration. Leading the way, the first line of collaborative effort from the Italian luxury fashion house and German sportswear takes on adidas’s classic Superstar footwear model.
The collaboratively-tuned sneaker is constructed with a simple, clean “Optic White” premium full-grain leather construction as its base with a rubber shell toe and matching rubber cupsole. In contrast to the clean white base color, accents of black detailing comes in the form of the co-branding that appears on the tongue alongside Prada’s recognizable logo, and the Trefoil logos at the rear. It also features a “MADE IN ITALY” debossing underneath Prada’s logo and the edition number debossing on the medial side.
While it was the shoes that was much teased in the build up towards the revelation, it also comes with an enlarged version of Prada’s bowling bag tote that matches the footwear. Both items will be available on December 4 and will be limited to just 700 pieces on adidas.com and prada.com alongside a release at select Prada and adidas locations. Stay tuned for pricing details.
