A true master in Bauhaus design, Junghans unveils the new Master fein Automatic Edition. Limited to only a hundred pieces, the piece is at once exquisite and utterly collectible.
Brand new for the market this year, the Junghans Master fein Automatic combines the charm of Junghans’s timeless Bauhaus design cues with the elegance of the Meister range and exceptionally fine design. Featuring a flat 18K yellow gold case coming in at a very comfortable 39.5mm and a thickness of 11mm, this watch is slim, especially considering that the sapphire crystal covering the dial is ever so slightly domed to give the piece an overall visual depth that just screams of classicism. The piece’s overall silhouette is even more stunning when viewed on the side which resembles a discus, thanks to its slight dome.
The dial is matte, silver-plated, and is ever so slightly convexed which further adds to the piece’s overall visual depth. Featuring diamond-effect strokes as the hour markers and the historic Junghans logo on the 12 o’clock position, this piece is surely worthy of being called a classic despite its age, thanks to its immaculate design. Fitted with an alligator leather strap with 18-Kgold buckle, and water resistant to up to 3 bars, Junghans laid everything out on the table for this piece to shine.
Flip the piece over and you’ll find another piece of sapphire crystal adorning the back of the case, giving the self-winding J800.1 movement its very own space to shine. Developed and produced specifically for this model in Schramberg, the movement is delicately and beautifully decorated. Fitted with blue screws, and the immaculately-designed Junghans rotor with Sunray brush finish, with a gilded and polished plate acting as the bearing cover placed over the rotor bearing, the piece is stunning from both sides.
Limited to a mere one hundred pieces, this piece is sure to be a very sought-after collectors piece in the years to come.
