Last April, Helmut Lang announced a T-shirt design competition through its Instagram account, encouraging people to stay at home and create while at it. Led by the brand’s art director, Becca Halev, the initiative invited the brand’s more than 617 thousand Instagram followers to submit original artwork for a T-shirt that best references the brand but does not include any imagery or advertisement.
