DEVIL MAY CARE. Haider Ackerman’s first collection for Berluti adopted a rock-and-roll spirit with a whole lot of class
Haider Ackermann’s debut collection for Berluti was seductive bliss. As a matter of fact, the brand’s fall/winter 2017 fashion show for menswear included several female models wearing the same interchangeable pieces as the men.
These, in turn, adopted a rock-and-roll spirit that was inspired by The Velvet Underground, an American rock band from the ’60s. From the clothes to the shoes, backpacks to clutches, the collection had a concrete consistency throughout. The band clutch in navy blue serves as a great representation to the collection’s rocker style. Crafted in Venezia leather, Berluti’s signature material, the band clutch’s polished shine imposes a sexy and poised quality that makes carrying it an ultra-luxurious affair, espescially if you pair it with the brand’s Heith boots.
