H. Moser & Cie. Draws a Subtle Connection Between Past and Present With its Heritage Bronze “Since 1828”

With a look inspired by pocket watches which were converted into wristwatches in the early 1920s using fine attachments, H. Moser & Cie.’s Heritage collection is undoubtedly traditional. Recently, the brand pushes this historical aspect even further by adorning the fumé dial of the latest Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” limited edition with its Cyrillic logo, as was occasionally used in the era of the company’s illustrious founder, Heinrich Moser.

Launched at this year’s Dubai Watch Week, H. Moser & Cie. sends ripples through this model’s classic design through a slightly eccentric choice of colors and materials, which is poised on the edge between tradition and modernity. For instance, the brand uses bronze—a material that changes over time, becoming ever more beautiful as its patina develops—for the case of this model. More importantly, the warm reflections of the bronze offer an interesting contrast with the cooler shades of the Blackor fumé dial, which features the H. Moser & Cie. Cyrillic logo.

Finally, as the watch is decorated with a railway minute track in white, the famous Moser double stripes and powered by the in-house HMC 200 caliber, it’s more than safe to say that the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” model perfectly represents H. Moser & Cie. as a modern and innovative Manufacture with a rich history dating back almost 200 years.
