This April, Swiss watch brand Hautlence opened its very first boutique at the ground floor of Pacific Place, Jakarta. Interestingly, it wasn’t only the brand’s premier boutique in Jakarta, but the first in the world, which speaks volumes of the market potential for fine watches in the nation’s capital. The avant-garde salon, with its glass panels and wood paneling, certainly reflected the design philosophies of Hautlence. Present at the event was the brand’s CEO and co-founder, Guillaume Tetu, along with the watchmaker’s brand ambassador, football legend Eric Cantona, who, unsurprisingly, drew in quite a crowd.
