Gadget Review: IdeaPad Yoga 13 by Lenovo

The IdeaPad Yoga 13 from Lenovo combines the productivity and power of an ultrabook with the touch screen interface and user-friendliness of a tablet, taking full advantage of Windows 8 and its completely redesigned user interface.

This transformable device is as flexible as its name implies — its screen flips a full 360 degrees into four modes which allow you to use it as a full featured laptop, an easy to carry tablet, and other convenient options that are designed to make it simple to create, share and consume content. One of the most unique features of the IdeaPad Yoga 13 is its innovative motion controls that work in a way similar to the Xbox Kinect. You simply use the integrated 720p webcam as an input device – with the flick of a wrist you can flip through pages, rewind or fast-forward music and perform a variety of simple commands. Other nice features like an impressively long battery life and HDMI output make this an excellent all-in-one machine.
