Despite housing many of the factories that produce many of the world’s cell phones, China’s own homegrown tech companies have been unable to compete in the fiercely competitive global smartphone market — until now.
The Find 5 is the latest flagship phone from Chinese manufacturer Oppo, and it has enough top of-the-line features to face off against international competitors, including one of the world’s first true 5-inch 1080p HP displays, Qualcomm’s speedy quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip with 2GB RAM and Android 4.1.2. The 13-megapixel camera utilizes special hardware to produces impressively colorful HDR (high dynamic range) imagery in both photos and video, a first for a mobile phone camera.
