SHOOTING STAR. In this day and age, shooting a film doesn’t necessary call for a team or a fancy camera, for that matter. Panasonic is currently on top of the game with the Lumix DMC-FZ1000, the first prosumer bridge camera to offer a 4K video facility.
The term “4K” here refers to the Ultra High Definition (UHD) resolution, meaning that any video you make will appear topnotch even on a wide cinema screen. Going back to photography, this 20.1- megapixel camera utilizes a Leica DC Vario-Elmarit 25-4mm lens, enabling optical zoom as many as 16 times. Amateurs are also welcome with the 5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) technology, creating sharp images despite minimal handshake.
