Fred Perry has collaborated with Japanese street fashion BEAMS for the first time. The collaboration produces classic pieces with a twist and reinterpretations of the iconic Laurel Wreath logo.
Fred Perry’s list of collaborations continues to grow as it taps BEAMS for its SS20 capsule collection. The collaboration produced a logo-heavy collection, ranging from shirts, t-shirts, tracksuits, trousers, and bowling shirts. While all pieces feature a line of Fred Perry logos in blue, orange, green, and purple colors inspired by tennis courts.
The centrepiece of the collection is easily recognized as the heavy tricot fabric-constructed matching track jacket and trousers. Sportswear inspired, the tracksuits feature side long white stripes and the collection’s signature Laurel Wreath embroidery in a large scale on the back. The collection will be available in over 80 countries, including Fred Perry flagship stores and selected stores worldwide.
