KENZO and NIGO released their latest Spring/Summer 2022 drop titled “Denim Boke Flower,” the successor of the first two drops in the collection.
The whole collection, called “Boke Flower Collection,” has been dubbed “the most comprehensive seasonal collection” and is named after Japanese quince or kusa-boke in Japanese. The drop features fifteen pieces comprising eight pieces of womenswear and seven pieces of menswear. Still, most of the pieces are unisex. Embroidered red boke flowers,
the icon of the collection, is sewn onto the likes of denim blousons, jackets, pants, stripped shirt, and knee-length skirts. Also included in the collection are T-shirts in relaxed and oversized version. Besides symbolizing the upcoming spring season, the red floral icon also serves as a tribute to the house’s founder, Kenzo Takada.
