MOVEMBER MOVE. In the spirit of Movember, we’ve rounded up five DA MAN cover actors with and without their mustache
Josh Dallas
Josh Dallas is often seen clean-shaven as the Prince Charming in the TV series “Once Upon a Time.” When shooting for DA MAN October/November 2014 cover, he sports a little scruff while rocking a suit-and-tie look. It looks like the father of two actually loves to grow his facial hair though, as he was once seen sporting thick mustache and untrimmed beard off the set. Speaking of film set, it seems that Dallas is currently laying low with no rumor on upcoming projects. A source has it that he’s rather busy caring for the newborn second baby. Congrats!
Joshua Bowman
Popular TV series “Revenge” always has Joshua Bowman appear clean-shaven during each of the Grayson’s galas in the show. The well-built actor coincidentally shows his trademark hair and meticulously groomed look in a dark-colored coat for DA MAN December 2013/January 2014 cover. When not busy shooting though, Bowman sheds off his “good boy” look by favoring well-trimmed mustache and beard. Currently, the British actor still has his scheduled filled with acting in the successful TV series “Revenge” along with girlfriend Emily VanCamp.
Justin Bartha
In “Hangover,” Justin Bartha plays the scrupulous Doug Billings who has his face groomed smooth and clean. For DA MAN June/July 2013 cover shoot, the newlywed smiles widely and keeps his no-beard look in check. But an old archive from three years ago showed Bartha looking equally great in plaid shirt and with some whiskers and beard for “The Debt” screening. Upcoming projects? He has tons! He’s going to play prominent characters in action movie “Headlock” and a bunch of film dramas including “Sticky Notes,” “White Girl,” and “Phoenix,” all in 2015.
Jai Courtney
In “Divergent,” Jai Courtney plays the ever so ruthless and intimidating Eric with no mustache or beard on. For DA MAN April/May 2014 cover, he’s grown some facial hair and appears very nifty in a suit-and-tee combo. Back in 2013, Courtney had his mustache fully-grown when promoting his film “Felony.” On a separate note, Courtney has a number of movies coming up soon, not excluding Angeline Jolie-directed “Unbroken,” the buzzing sequel “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” and the most-anticipated film series “Terminator: Genisys.”
Matt Bomer
Aside from his affinity for fedora hats, Matt Bomer, the swift criminal in “White Collar,” also likes sporting a well-shaven look. He shows off his mysterious yet engaging smirk on the cover of DA MAN February/March 2013. One year before, Bomer rocked a whole different look with well-trimmed mustache and beard when appearing at GLSEN Respect Awards in Los Angeles. An actor to look forward to, Bomer has a list of upcoming projects, including “Monty Clift” and “Magic Mike XXL” where he plays as Ken Doll alongside Channing Tatum.
