LV To Drop Apple AirPods Trunk Case Necklace
Just when you thought technology couldn’t get any more stylish, Louis Vuitton womenswear creative director Nicolas Ghesquière delved into the tech realm with the creation of the LV trunk Apple AirPod case.
Wrapped in its iconic monogram, the accessory which is part of Louis Vuitton’s SS20 collection also features “LV” debossed edges and gold-tone reinforcements, rivets and clasp with a gold-tone link chain for effortless carry around the neck. While stock isn’t available just yet, it’s ready to pre-order.
TAG Heuer’s Releases the Monaco 1999-2009 Limited Edition Timepiece
TAG Heuer released its latest Monaco model, the Monaco 1999-2009 Limited edition. Available to only 169 examples at a $6,550 price tag, the model is a tribute to the early 2000s which tries to capture the turning of the millennium. It features Tag Heuer’s traditional logo as well as a monochromatic themed design that’s meant to highlight the iconic case shape, with red and orange color accents. In celebrating the silver anniversary of its legendary Monaco model, TAG Heuer releases five new models throughout 2019, with the particular model being the fourth release (after the 1969-1979, 1979-1989, and the 1989-1999 models).

CALVIN KLEIN JEANS EST. 1978 latest drop seeks inspiration from NASA’s Moon landing, in commemoration of its 50th anniversary earlier in July this year. The release, which features a shirt and a pair of straight jeans, are both fully printed with the photograph of the historic moment. The Moon Landing jeans are priced at $450 while the Moon Landing shirt is priced at $470.
Prada Debuts Luna Rossa Monohull Boat for America’s Cup
Approaching the 36th edition of America’s Cup, the oldest trophy in the sport of sailing, Prada unveiled its AC75 Luna Rossa monohull that will represent Italy’s Circolo della Vela Sicilia yacht club at the competition that will take place in Auckland, New Zealand from January to March 2021. The boat by the Italian label—who is also sponsoring the event—took a total of 78,000 hours with a team of over 90 people to complete, built by luxury yacht maker Persico Marine. Other than having of 7,000 square meters of carbon fiber and 400 square meters of aluminum honeycomb as the makeup of the hull as well as two carbon-fiber “foil arms” that can support up to 27 tons, there’s also a “soft wing” rig that is key to the latest mode which features parallel sails for an innovative new detail. The christening happened in Cagliari by Miuccia Prada herself, joined by husband Patrizio Bertelli (President of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team), the town’s archbishop, Monsignor Arrigo Miglio, Agostino Randazzo (President of Circolo della Vela Sicilia) and Marco Tronchetti Provera (CEO of Pirelli).
Virgil Abloh Hints Out At Off-White’s Potential New Logo
In a recent Instagram post, Virgil Abloh hints out at what could be Off-White’s potential new logo, revamping its signature “X” logo that has arrows at the point of each tip. The logo features the graphics of a face in the middle and two hands on the side, with the word “Off” on the left side and “White” on the right. The logo made its debut appearance during the brand’s recent Women’s Spring 2020 Ready-to-Wear runway show, also appearing on a range of garment tags of the collection. According to the Justia database, Off-White has filed an application to trademark the new logo on September 13 which reads “consists of a sinking person’s hands and face below the words ‘Off’ and ‘White’”. The application also reports that the logo will be used on everything from apparel and headwear to shoes and sleeping masks.
Saint Laurent Paris Condoms
After Alexander Wang and Marc Jacobs, it’s Saint Laurent’s turn to release its debut lineup of condoms. The protective device is available in six different designs marked with Saint Laurent Paris’s logo. The latest drop of branded accessories by the French luxury fashion house—which previously includes tennis rackets, balls, yoga matts to brass dumbells—was announced by creative director Anthony Vaccarello via instagram and are available exclusively at Saint Laurent Paris’s Rive Droite concept store at 2 euros. The release is also accompanied by a campaign called “The Love Affair”, shot by famed photographer Juergen Teller.
