THE THESPIAN AND THE PRINCE. Oscar Award winning actor Jeremy Irons and Pierre Casiraghi, heir to the throne of Monaco, have both been tapped by menswear brand Berluti to be the new faces of the brand.
Berluti, a Parisian brand owned by LVMH, has been known as a maker of superlative shoes and boots since its founding in 1985. The brand recently got a shot in the arm with the appointment of a new creative director, Alessandro Sartori, who aims to “rediscover the points of origin of the gentlemanly style” with the new campaign shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino. The ad featuring Irons is set in a private member’s club in London, while the shot of Casiraghi, who is third in line to the throne of Monaco, was taken on a harbour in his kingdom. Berluti’s Singapore store reopened in May after a round of refurbishments.
