<h2>Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner made headlines around the world in October when he successfully completed his record breaking skydive from an altitude of 39,045 meters, at the very edge of space.</h2>

<p>In fact, he broke three world records that day: one for being the first man to break the speed of sound while in freefall by reaching an estimated speed of 1,342.8 km/hr, one for highest freefall, and one for the highest manned balloon flight. During his jump, Baumgartner was wearing a very special watch from Swiss watch manufacturer Zenith, the all-new El Primero Stratos Flyback Striking 10th chronograph.</p>

<p>The Stratos is equipped with the world’s most accurate automatic chronograph movement – the El Primero — making it a perfect partner for Baumgartner. “This project is all about uniqueness, manpower and precision and my Zenith chronograph perfectly matched the mission,” said Baumgarnter after the jump. Zenith watches have often accompanied pioneers during their most incredible projects, such as explorer Roald Amundsen’s discovery of the North and South Poles.</p>
