Etro Spring Summer 2019 is inspired by Indonesia

Etro, the beloved talian fashion house founded in 1968, is known for their paisleys, boho chic, and contemporary folklore styles. For this family business, it’s always about a dramatic meld of prints, colors, and patterns—all with unique culture references season after season.

For their latest outing, the Etro Spring Summer 2019 collection is inspired by Indonesia.

The Creative Director of the Etro Man collections, Kean Etro, a globetrotter himself, looked to this Southeast Asian country with rich heritage and culture for a romantic modern ethnic collection. He referenced Indonesian batiks and dyes.

Have a look at the key looks we love from the Etro Spring Summer 2019 collection. From the soft fabrics and opulent colors to the batik prints and neo-geometric patterns—even the styling—there is no doubt that the Etro Spring Summer 2019 is inspired by Indonesia.
