Asia Afrika No. 8, Jakarta; +62 21 5790 6080; unacho-hitsumabushi.com) specializes in hitsumabushi, which is charcoal-grilled unagi on rice served Nagoya-style and traditionally eaten in four different ways. The restaurant itself is designed much like a typical Japanese restaurant, with bamboo accents adorning the establishment’s décor. But whatever it may lack in visual punch, it more than makes up for in the quality of food on offer.</p>
